Help! Low FPS on PUBG with RTX 2060
Monitor: Asus 27' 165hz
Gaming rig: I-5 9400-F - ASUS ROG rtx 2060 - Hyperfury ddr4 1x8gb - Gigabyte H310m
Setting: verylow (except textures medium)
Fps cap unlimited
Nvidia setting: all max performance
From 70-90 fps it drops to 40-50 fps when I land and then goes back to 70-90 fps, sometimes it reaches 100-110 depending on which places I go to.
I need some help or advice on how to improve my fps or is there any problem with my setup?
Are your GPU drivers current? Is your display linked to your GPU rather than the motherboard's built-in graphics? (this seems odd but it’s worth checking)

4. Does your system perform well with other games, particularly demanding ones? If yes, I can only guess it’s struggling with PUGB's optimization for PC.

Sure, it will indicate if the issue is related to heat.
It might be useful to try testing on other games, whether free or not.
It's hard to grasp why you're facing such issues with just 8GB of RAM in 2019.
