If the PC stays on overnight, you might try using the screen power button to switch the displays on. This can help keep the windows active. Sometimes the problem lies with the monitors instead of the Windows.

I've experienced issues similar to those you mentioned, mainly with RAM problems. However, putting the machine into sleep mode isn't ideal and many users dislike it.
