I'm facing issues with clocks above 3000MHz on my Corsair Vengeance 3000MHZ CL15 system with two 8GB XMP memory sticks. The ASUS B350F with Ryzen 1700 BIOS doesn't seem to support DOCP and DOCP standard properly. It looks like the chipset can't handle odd-numbered clocks, so Cl15 might need to be upgraded to Cl16. I've tried using a DRAM calculator but got many missing fields in the BIOS settings. No advice was given.

You have an 8 gigabit Hynix AFR chip, which isn’t ideal for Ryzen processors. However, a 3200MHz option could work if the timings are correct. It’s worth noting that early Ryzen models don’t handle high mem clocks well, so 3000MHz might be your best bet.

Timings might cause issues if too high, but they won’t harm the hardware as long as they’re correct. Voltage sensitivity is the real concern. There’s a tool that can estimate suitable timings, though I can’t confirm it will succeed. It’s worth trying, especially for 3200MHz.

You should review all the data inputs carefully because the ASUS BIOS has certain sections that don’t align with a calculator. Many users adjust only the first five entries and skip the rest.

Assists with stable RAM performance but adds extra delay—about one clock cycle. For example, CL15 rounds up to CL16. If your B350-F BIOS lets you adjust settings, try enabling or disabling it. Disabling lets you use odd-numbered timings.
