Hello,
I need some help deciding between two prebuilt PCs.
This one is intended for a friend who wants it for playing FPS and racing games, with a budget around 2,400 USD.
I’ve found two options that both look good.
I have some doubts about the graphics card and power supply. Some people mention the graphics card might overheat due to certain plastic parts, while others say it’s not a big problem. The power supply seems a bit weak, but using PCPartPicker shows it uses less power than expected. The other power supply I considered is the ASUS TUF GAMING 750B with a 750W PSU.

Here are the two models:
Phanteks Eclipse G360A Mid Tower
MSI GeForce RTX 4070 VENTUS 2X OC
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU Tray
Cooler Master ML240L V2 RGB CPU Cooler
Kingston FURY Beast RGB DDR5 6000MHz 32GB
Kingston FURY Renegade PCIe M.2 NVME SSD 2TB
WD BLACK SN770 NVMe SSD 1TB
ASUS TUF Gaming B650-PLUS WIFI
Cooler Master MWE Gold 650 V2 PSU
Windows 11 Home

Both options are around the same price, about 2,400 USD.
Appreciate your assistance!

The AMD system definitely shows, the CPU is significantly quicker. You probably don’t need a liquid cooler and I’d prefer a big air cooler for better durability.
Unclear what plastic part they might be talking about. The PSU fits your chosen GPU well, though it’s less suited with the more energy-hungry Intel CPU.
The 4070 is just a 200W card, one of the more efficient models and usually comes with oversized coolers, similar to the 4070Ti. Still, there’s a possibility this week the 4070 Super will be announced, possibly at the same cost and with better performance.
If you have any worries, look for a 750W or 850W ATX3.0 model. The RM750e is typically the most affordable option.

Yo, Frindis, how's it going?!
The builds are pretty alike, but I'd go with the AMD version—it's more power-efficient. Do you have any extra budget space for either option? I'm thinking of splurging a bit on the PSU and getting something a bit stronger.
Maybe send us a link to PCPartPicker so we can adjust it?

For a reason, which prebuilt company stands out? There are several options, but some should be avoided.

Yes, the 750 Bronze TUF gaming isn't a strong choice.

Pure Rock 2 Black CPU cooler appears to be among the top choices according to the manufacturer. The alternative, which is not a liquid cooler, is the Pure Rock 2 FX PCU. Some users have noted that the backplate being made of plastic might be an issue. Heyo
I enjoy fishing in Runescape and occasionally check PC Gamer. I hope you're doing well too 😉
I plan to choose a higher model, though the ASUS TUF Gaming 750B seems to be the only one people have praised. Others, like Corsairs, have given poor reviews regarding noise levels, such as with the Corsair RMe Series RM750e/850e PSU & Cooler Master MWE Gold 850. Perhaps they just had a bad experience with that unit.
Absolutely
Intel I5 one:

AMD Ryzen 7 one:

(changed from liquid to air cooling as recommended)

Komplett is the producer (Norwegian firm).
Below are the connections for both PCs prior to any modifications, allowing you to review potential upgrade components.

Thank you for the help. I’ll stick with your advice and choose the first PC option. I plan to switch to an air cooler and upgrade the power supply. Also, I’ll wait until the end of January to see if the RTX 4070 is a good fit. Thanks again for the tips!
