I’m sharing my setup and what happened so you can help. I installed an AMD Ryzen 9 7950X with Arctic Freezer e34 Sports Duo fans, MSI B650 Tomahawk WiFi Mobo (BIOS v7D75v1B), Corsair Vengeance 2x32GB CL32 DDR5 6400MHz 750W BeQuiet! Pure Power 12M, and all drivers were updated. Windows 11 Pro was running smoothly with no issues. After a few days, I noticed performance dropped during heavy tasks like Photoshop—after about three hours the system slowed noticeably, which I thought was due to my OS version. I restarted to fix it. Later, I encountered BSODs repeatedly, especially with error codes like IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL 4-5 times, amdkmdag.sys missing, and MEMORY_MANAGEMENT errors appearing twice or three times. I tried reseating the RAM, swapping it around, but the problems persisted until I disabled XMP in BIOS. Now I’m unsure where to begin troubleshooting since I’m still getting familiar with this setup. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The target is quite high; probably the CPU memory controller can't cope. Lower it slightly and check if it stabilizes. Consider trying 6000 next. AMD only promises up to 5200 on that board, beyond that luck helps. Still, a ratio of 5600 to 6000 works well in most cases.

Thanks for the feedback. I'll test with 6000 and monitor the results. If the issue persists, I'll reduce the value further. Best, El
