Hey, I'm trying to pick the best RAM for gaming. I have three options to look at: one with 2x16GB at 3200MHz, another with 4x8GB at 3200MHz CL16, and a third with 4x8GB at 3600MHz CL18. My aim is 32GB total and looking great for show. Which should I go with?

They’re really expensive, I wouldn’t choose any of them. But focusing on the basics: go with 3200 and two sticks. There’s little extra gain compared to 4 and 3600, which can be tough to run based on your board and CPU.

They work together as a team, not separately. If you can afford it, you’ll get something finely tuned with solid tuning. The 3200 C16 is my top suggestion.

Comparing 4 RAM modules to 2 offers more memory slots, which can boost performance and support larger applications. However, it may also increase cost and complexity. If you're after a sleek design, ensure the case and motherboard accommodate four sticks.

Proceed with confidence. The price increase reflects only a slight improvement in performance.
