Help choosing ram
Hello everyone, I'm looking for the right RAM for my Ryzen ITX setup. It looks like prices are high in Europe, but the cheapest option I found is the G.SKILL F4-3000C16S-8GISB 8GB DDR4 3000MHZ AEGIS. I'm wondering if my system will actually reach those speeds once I add another stick later. I have a R5 2600 CPU, a B450 ITX motherboard, and a Silverstone SST-ST45SF PSU. I'm considering the F4-3000C16S-8GISB 8GB DDR4 3000MHZ or a higher-speed version. The other RAM choices are the PATRIOT PVS48G300C6 VIPER STEEL and MRA4U300JJJM8G, both 8GB DDR4 3000MHZ. My motherboard's QVL list seems outdated, so I'm not sure what compatibility I should expect. Thanks for your help! I'm still getting familiar with PC building.
I plan to purchase the second stick in about a month. Running in a single channel isn't feasible for laptops? I understand it won't match the speed of dual-channel, but it should still work?
