Currently there isn’t a Seasonic dealer in my country. I’ve looked at their site, and if the PSU fails, there’s no chance to get it replaced or repaired. The warranty won’t help me.
For alternatives, Corsair, Cooler Master MSI, Antec, and Thermaltake seem viable since they all have service centers for various problems.
This PSU is quite good. It's a solid pick if you're considering this model. Corsair offers the RMX Shift and HXi options that are worth purchasing for an ATX3.0 setup, though the RMe can be too loud. Cooler Master has the V-i Gold and Thermaltake has the GF3, GF A3 and PF3 as good alternatives. Antec doesn't have any tested ATX3.0 units available yet.
How about this Asus model? Asus claims its parts are military grade. Is that really true? The local dealer is recommending Thermaltake GF3 1000W, MSI a1000G with PCIe5.0, or the link I shared earlier. Both Asus and MSI are convenient choices since their service centers are within 2-3 km of my home. The other brand would require sending it to an importer for any service problems.
