I faced two issues while updating my AMD driver. Now my PC runs significantly slower than before, and I can't even launch Fallout New Vegas smoothly. First, the update often triggers an error in the AMD Catalyst Installation Manager, causing it to freeze and stop responding. When Windows prompts to end the program and you choose to close it, a window appears as shown in the first picture. Second, after the update, every time I restart my computer, the second picture displays a message asking if you've seen similar problems before, how you resolved them, or if I should wait for another update from AMD.

I faced this problem before too. I tried all possible solutions—removed registry entries, deleted everything related, reinstalled drivers. Nothing helped. It seemed something was damaged and I couldn’t pinpoint the cause. Eventually, I had to start from scratch with a fresh Windows install (which was convenient since I’m on Windows 10, giving me an excuse to erase the drive).

Go back to the previous driver version. It looks like AMD isn't getting their driver updates right. My latest installment crashes every time I start a game, but after rolling back, things worked fine.

Sure, look for the 15.7 driver version on the official download page or contact support for the correct link.

You might try Windows' Driver Rollback option. I used it. It didn't revert Catalyst, but it restored the driver.
