Hey gamers, thinking about next steps. The recent Fortnite update has been causing some issues. I tried updating my graphics drivers and saw a big jump in FPS—almost 60. But sometimes the visuals would crash with annoying flashes. After checking my posts, it looks like the graphics driver change turned off the DGPU, forcing the HD4000 to handle everything. Rolling back fixed the problem but only brought FPS down to 20. Now I’m wondering if upgrading RAM could help stabilize performance and reduce those flashy issues?

The HD7670M can be really difficult to get running properly. It only works when their drivers are active. If turning off the integrated GPU in BIOS helps, go for it. Otherwise, forcing the driver won’t save the day.
