I’m fairly skilled at assembling systems and fixing problems, but this one has left me puzzled about the specs. The machine you mentioned—Ryzen 5 5600X, Asus Prime B450M motherboard, 16GB Corsair RAM, 750W PSU, AMD Ryzen 580, 8GB RAM—seems fine. My friend brought it to your place for a LAN party, and I carefully placed it in the back seat of my truck, upright between the front and rear seats. When we returned home, everything functioned normally except for the GPU showing screen artifacts. I connected the GPU into his PC and also plugged in my GTX 1070 from my own system, which worked perfectly. It’s definitely the GPU that’s causing the issue. Could you help me figure out what might be wrong?
Reset the graphics drivers by pressing Win + Ctrl + Shift + B. If unsuccessful, switch to HDMI or DSP inputs on your monitor and use different outputs on the GPU.
I noticed the mention of moving the PC. I wondered why you didn’t choose a GPU bracket to keep it stable. My idea is that while the GPU was inside during operation, it kept shifting which might have damaged the PCIe slot or the GPU itself, leading me to focus on the GPU or motherboard instead.
