Is this a fresh setup of Windows? If yes, the optimal step would be to run the Windows Media Creation Tool, erase all partitions on that disk, and then reinstall Windows. You might also try AOMEI Partition Assistant (FREE) to remove partitions before proceeding. Good luck. https://www.diskpart.com/free-partition-manager.html

I finished with a full Windows reinstall by installing the ISO disk, and it’s worked smoothly ever since. I’m reading this article now, but I’ve learned about AOMEI tools, so I’ll consider trying them again if it happens again.
