He’s worried after using a bottleneck calculator—it warns it might not be ideal. I suggested he consider upgrading his graphics card to an RTX 4070 and pairing it with a Ryzen 7-5700X. Let me know if that sounds good!

Most bottleneck calculators are completely useless. They confuse those who aren’t familiar with bottleneck concepts. pc-builds.com is really bad quality. The 5700x and 4070 work well together. Would your friend see improved performance with a stronger CPU? Yes. Will they achieve a playable frame rate with the 5700x? Definitely. They’ll enjoy a great gaming session with this setup.
