This applies just to users with a genuine Windows version and a fully activated system (though that’s more of a guideline than a rule). Product keys are usually restricted to a single PC, except for those that support multiple devices.
Your latest Windows version should work without issues, but you might still see warnings about fake keys if you activate it through updates. Previous versions often had similar concerns. Using a key found online is common due to mixed communications from Microsoft about free access.
If it isn't identified as authentic, you must use it within 30 days.
I'm receiving updates too... perhaps I'll check what comes next. It doesn't matter either way.
