Your Windows 10 laptop is six years old and isn’t connecting to the internet despite your efforts. There were three Trojan viruses detected, which you quarantined using MalwareBytes. Still, the connection remains unresolved—what could be causing this?

I tried the same action multiple times—three to four restarts—and it seems to help now. It’s not a lasting fix, but it’s free and functions better when the issue recurs rather than requiring repeated instructions.

Initially it might not have been infected with viruses. Checking the device manager for a Wi-Fi card could reveal any issues.

Keep your mind intact and remove all necessary files from your PC immediately. Start over.

If Trojans are present, I recommend copying your files from the User Folder, listing your software, and installing them manually on a fresh system. After saving your important data, try removing Malwarebytes completely and check if it resolves the problem. In the best scenario, you won’t need a clean install; in the worst case, perform a clean install using the saved files.
