I'm working on my first custom PC and facing challenges in locating replacement components. My initial setup featured an I7-7700 16GB AVXir Raiden series RAM and a Galax HOF 1080. Building it took nearly two years with significant extra time, and it performed excellently even now. While it still functions well, I'm aiming to upgrade it to the latest specifications. I haven't found a HOF 3080 and locating compatible AVXir RAM is proving difficult. If anyone knows about these parts or has any leads, I'd really appreciate the help.

You need to locate those specifically because each brand offers unique benefits. Any alternative would suffice.

The i3 processor is quite old and wouldn't handle modern games well, especially when paired with a 3080 graphics card.

You're choosing the same RAM and GPU brand simply because of their appearance, aren't you? Remember, the 7700 won't offer top-tier performance by 2022 levels. Consider whether your budget aligns with a full system upgrade instead of sticking with the same setup.

I'm planning to upgrade to at least an Intel 12th Gen CPU. Apologies for overlooking that earlier. Yes, I want to stick with specific brands to maintain a similar feel to the previous build while still boosting performance. Thanks for the feedback!

Consider creating a completely new setup each day, using components that are readily available, while preserving your original custom PC for emotional significance.
