I purchased a new motherboard from ASUS B450 Plus Gaming and a fresh Ryzen 5 3600 CPU. I'm curious about whether the boot screen will appear without updating the BIOS.

It seems posting might not happen unless the BIOS gets updated. Some motherboards are delivered with the latest BIOS already installed.

Current motherboards need BIOS updates to accommodate third-generation Ryzen processors. Or do you already have them installed but aren’t starting up correctly?

I developed three setups using B450 panels, and each came pre-installed with Ryzen 3000 processors.

Currently, B450 motherboards often include a recent BIOS update. However, this isn't always accurate since some might have been stored away for a while.
