Struggling to get this PC running smoothly is tough. I’ve got a bunch of components but I’m still figuring everything out. The BIOS update was tricky, and installing Windows forced me to use the command prompt for the chipset tools. I downloaded the AMD software installer after seeing no drivers on the flash drive, but the setup kept failing because the driver window looked broken. After a restart, it didn’t boot fully. I’m not sure what’s wrong or how to fix it. Any tips would be super helpful!

It seems like the Windows installer encountered an issue. You can start fresh by generating a new installation media. During setup, instead of installing drivers, press Shift+F10 and type "start ms-ch:localonly" to bypass the Wi-Fi step. After reaching the desktop, organize the drivers as needed.

Reinstall Windows now. The files could work fine, but ensure you have the proper drivers for your chipset and Wi-Fi adapter. Download the latest LAN drivers and launch them. Avoid using the command prompt during this process. Don’t need to open any additional programs from the MSI installer. If you encounter issues with audio, switch to the audio driver as well: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/MAG-B550...ort#driver. Before proceeding further, install the chipset drivers here: https://www.amd.com/en/support/downloads.../b550.html

I haven't tested it on a fresh Windows setup, but I've attempted to let Windows retry the installation, which keeps restarting like a boot loop. You might try uninstalling the drivers it created to determine if removing them helps restore your previous state.

Check the installation files and ensure they’re in the correct location. Clear any previous driver settings or restore defaults. If you need to revert, uninstall the drivers completely before reinstalling Windows. Avoid relying on retries unless the issue is a simple glitch.

You've already uninstalled the drivers during a previous Windows reinstall. It looks like another problem might be at play. Can you tell me where your PC becomes unresponsive during operation?

Sorry, I don’t have additional details. The screen shows 87%, then the PC restarts and the installation begins. I’m currently at work, but I’ll try again later with a clean memory.
