Hello Case: HP600G1 I changed the standard power in the case to 320W. The device assembly normally works at a different voltage, but it doesn’t when I remove the RX 570 graphics card. Bringing in another power supply fixed it. I thought it might be a defect in the new power unit. I tried using the original 320W supply and everything functioned normally. There seems to be an issue with the power source itself. Also, recent power cuts and a loss of 12GB RAM suggest a possible problem with the board or power delivery.
AMD suggests a PSU with at least 450W for your RX 570. The original case had a 320W supply, so you replaced it. I need more details about your system—CPU, RAM, storage, etc.—to understand the situation better. If power issues occurred, it might affect other components like the motherboard or CPU instead of just the RAM. You mentioned the case is from HP; are you certain it uses a standard PSU, or could it be a different type?
Tested three units. The first was a 500-watt Chinese model. It would occasionally power on, but only after several tries. The second was 800 watts from Topower +80bronze. It worked initially, though inserting the card caused it to fail. The third, Cooler Master TM600, operated identically to the second—turned on without a card, but failed when the card was inserted. Using the original 320-watt power made the second model function properly, and it supported all PC spaces well.
