I own an i7 10700k with a cougar air cooler, but it won’t shut down when it’s hot. I cleaned the area but don’t know what else to try (no games running and only 15% load).

Is the case designed for good air circulation? Which way is the cooling fan oriented? Was this built from scratch or purchased ready-made?

A few images would clarify things. It seems like there might be a pump problem. Double-check that it's securely plugged in and operating.

the pc runs smoothly with good airflow from the NX600 by Antec, and the fans are effectively drawing in air from the case on the outside
