The disclaimer states that the CPU requires a particular BIOS update on the motherboard to function. The board must be compatible with flash back (q-flash), so you don’t have to worry—updating it is possible even if the PC doesn’t start with the CPU installed.

You'll likely need to refresh the bios using a flashback once everything is set.

Based on what I understand, Intel 12th gen CPUs are the first generation for this socket LGA1700, meaning no initial BIOS update is necessary. The CPU cooler should work fine, though clearance might be a concern depending on the site. For Intel 13th gen, the first revisions to LGA1700 boards may require a BIOS update.
