Hello,
I recently purchased a new PC and have been experiencing frequent crashes across most games. Many people suggested the CPU might be overclocked. I tried checking by pressing F2, then went to ASUS UEFI EZ mode but couldn't determine if it was overclocked. Thank you in advance.
AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Nvidia GeForce 2060 RTX super
16G ram

Could you tell me who constructed it? Could be a personal acquaintance or an online shopper? Initially, I’d remove any unnecessary applications you don’t need—such as free trials and software. Then examine what remains active in the background that you can skip. Disable or operate those only when required. Avoid letting it launch automatically with Windows. Look at the tray at the bottom right of the taskbar for items you can manually unload, if needed.

Next, I’d open CCleaner and perform a comprehensive cleanup of both the registry and system files. If it identifies many entries, run it again. Then execute Malwarebytes to check whether any of those free programs might have been harmful or poorly designed. Finally, restart your games with minimal background activity.
