Do you want to set it up on the 140GB drive? That’s a system disk, so you’ll need to format it first. Ensure UEFI is enabled and the boot sequence is correct.

I successfully added 7 to the 160GB drive, but I kept encountering check disks each time I restarted to 7. Eventually, I switched to 10 and ran the checks there. It seems Windows 10 doesn’t want to let me use that version anymore.

Yes, exactly as I mentioned. You must complete the full setup of the main drive and choose the operating system you prefer. Alternatively, you can install Windows 10 using legacy BIOS mode; both options will work, though the system will start more slowly since UEFI is turned off.
