I own a GTX 1050ti and a Pentium G2030. The game ran smoothly at first, especially during the opening scene, but performance dropped significantly once you entered the main map, causing noticeable stuttering. I think the older processor might be the issue, though I’d like to verify it.

It seems the issue is probably linked to the Pentium. I initially tested with a Celeron G3900 as a temporary processor, but once I got the i7, the game became playable again after replacing it.

Turn off shadowplay when using it. GTA V may lag significantly when recording to the same storage device as the game.

I’m not relying on shadow play, but using an SSD for GTA should improve performance.

I don't agree, it might speed things up more. As mentioned before, boosting your CPU could really help. Which graphics settings are you applying and are you using VSync? If yes, disabling it could be beneficial.
