Heavy drop in my FPS on Warzone

I was playing Warzone at 80-90 fps with normal settings. After updating Windows to version 10 (May 2020) and changing the thermal paste on my CPU, my system overheated at 100°C, causing FPS to drop to 1-10. I re-applied the paste and now temperatures are around 60-70°C during play, but FPS still decreases to 1-10. It’s affecting my gameplay significantly. I don’t have any experience with overclocking, but I’ve tried several solutions without success. Now I’m playing on low settings, closed all programs, but the issue persists. Any advice would be appreciated.

I used Artic series 5 thermal paste.

My PC is old and previously ran smoothly. I updated GPU drivers and other software, but the problem remains.

I installed MSI Afterburner with power limits at 120%, auto fan speed set to 100%, and core voltage at 100%. The issue continues.

MSI Afterburner shows: Voltage Limit... GPU usage 90-100%... CPU usage 70-90%.

Here’s my build:
- Graphics card: EVGA 1060 6 GB
- M.2 SSD: 4 GB
- RAM: 2x4 GB DDR3
- Motherboard: Intel i7-4470
- Cooler: Corsair Liquid Cooling 120mm

both cpu and gpu are operating near maximum usage. consider reducing the game settings. ssd is becoming full. what is the make and model of the psu?
