Headroom for OC?
Headroom for OC?
Hi guys I need your advice and please be serious.
I have been doing some overlocking with my 4670k. First with a Hyper 212 Evo reached 4.5 at 1.21V, then swithched to a noctua NHD15 but temps weren´t that good so I delidded my CPU and now I got reaaally good temps.
1.24V and a max of 64C on aida64.
I want my cpu to reach 4.8 but I can't find stability I was hopping some of you could help me. temps are not really an issue. And do you think that oc is stable?
maximum voltage and oc can differ across different cpus and motherboard models. it might be around 4.5, but your board or cpu could reach higher limits. to determine the exact boundaries, experiment with varying voltage/multiplier settings until you reach a consistent frequency point. avoid letting temperatures exceed approximately 80 degrees Celsius. also, 1.4 volts is the safe maximum for that cpu.
