Headphones above 120dB sound great, but they’re starting to degrade over time. I’m seeking recommendations for headphones with a 120dB or higher rating, especially since I’m in a very noisy environment. Closed-back models would be ideal. I have some old Sennheiser headphones that reach around 120dB, but they’re losing quality and are no longer reliable. I also found one on Amazon that might suit my needs. I’m not particularly interested in technical details like ohms or impedance—I just want something loud and comfortable.

I strongly recommend using noise-cancelling headphones rather than risking hearing damage from 120db.

Hearing loss is almost certain at 120dB for long durations:

Think about reducing noise in your space and using soundproofing headphones.
