Headphone static/ crackling
Hello, I'm having this issue with my new laptop where my wireless headphones (razer Nari Ultimate) begin to have interference/ crackling / static, but only when sound plays, so if no sound is being played there is no noise from them. and keep in mind that ive had this headset from 2021 and it worked flawlessly so far, until i got this laptop (msi Raider something) and i have tried every possible software solution i could think of. could it be usb 3.0 port interference? because i always used it in 2.0 ports in my old computer. any insight would be useful.,
I believe the crackle happens no matter if you're using a local file or a stream, is that right? I'd like to test it on another machine. It seems the headset might be failing, though there could be other reasons. Have you downloaded drivers from Razer and MSI?
occurs during gameplay and while listening to internet audio (like YouTube). I don’t recall testing on another device, but I won’t. I haven’t searched for specific manufacturer drivers either—how could I miss that? Also, I haven’t tried using local files, though I’m curious if that would make a difference.
Try playing a file from your local storage and check for any remaining distortion. It seems possible the hardware might be failing or the volume settings could be too high.
