Hi, here are my PC specifications:
CPU: Intel Core i7 9700KF @3.6GHZ
PSU: 550w
GPU: MSI Nvidia RTX 3060 12GB
Ram: 32GB
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master 120mm Liquid Cooler
Storage: 500GB M.2 SSD, 2TB HDD, 1TB HDD
Motherboard: Mag Mortar B365M
My issue is that whenever I connect my headphones, there’s constant crackling from the front and back of the headphone jack—no other sound, even when playing music. I’ve tested various headphones and confirmed it isn’t the PC. I’ve tried everything for six months now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

It could be that a component on the motherboard is malfunctioning. You might want to try an alternative solution.
Here’s a link you can check: https://www.amazon.com/Micolindun-E...ll=1&qid=1664063172&sr=8-37&wIndexMainSlot=58
Your audio output on the motherboard used to seem like it was receiving a radio signal even when the computer wasn’t running. This might be a different brand but functions similarly—it connects via USB and allows you to use sound devices directly there.

I’ll try it out—I think you’re correct about the motherboard. When I got the PC it worked, but later I experienced static with no sound, and it’s been that way ever since.
