I recently assembled my new PC and powered it on for the first time. The fans were running normally, including the AIO liquid cooler, while most LEDs lit up except for my GPU, motherboard, and RAM. To my surprise, the monitor was completely dead. I tried resetting the CMOS, flashing the BIOS via USB, removing both RAM and GPU to clear debris, double-checked all connections—even the power supply—and still got no signal. I even connected the monitor directly to the GPU, not the motherboard. Spent several hours troubleshooting, but nothing worked. For anyone curious about compatibility, here’s my build list: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/JVwfFg (just noted I left out the XG PLUS 850 platinum). The blue light in the back of the case is probably just a normal indicator—thanks for checking!

Missed mentioning a fan who wasn't connected, lacked enough ports, whoops!

I notice at least three empty fan headers at the bottom of the board. Did you link the monitor to the GPU instead of the motherboard? If so, disconnect the monitor’s power (unplug it). Then reattach the DP/HDMI cable to the GPU and plug in the power. Finally, turn on the PC.

Is the debug LED illuminating? If not, it could indicate a problem with the monitor. Would you like an alternative solution, such as using a TV? As a last option, consider turning off the power supply, removing the CMOS battery for five minutes, and also test with just one RAM stick.

There are no debug status problems. The display is fairly new—I purchased it recently and already tested it on another screen. I took out my CMOS battery for five minutes and tried an alternative method. I’ll try the last suggestion you mentioned and let me know. Good luck!

No, nothing at all. By the way, do your GPU fans usually begin spinning when you power on because you don’t notice anything? Or is it more about them kicking in during heavy use?
