Series is actually pretty straightforward, but it demands a lot of effort to master. I wouldn't settle for casual players either. The current push to force tutorials in every game feels obligatory and unavoidable, yet there have been some challenging and impressive titles recently that surpass even the best classics.

It was really impressive. Perhaps another player could surpass The Witcher 3 without taking damage. That would be awesome! But honestly, this person must have mastered the game by observing his own playthroughs—clearly very skilled. It seemed unbelievable, yet he accomplished it.

I'll let you know as soon as he completes it on Battletoads. Then I'll make sure you're impressed.

From what I’ve noticed, it feels tough because of the complexity involved. My understanding might shift once I commit to diving deeper into DKS1. So far, I’ve only explored DKS2.

As a seasoned player, I see both PVE and PVP as rewarding experiences. If it feels too simple, give it a try—it's actually quite enjoyable! Upgrading weapons early isn't necessary because the game flows fairly straightforward. In fact, I found it more challenging than SL1 DkS1 and even more so than SL1 DeS. Your comments sound like they're influenced by current trends; the music might not be what everyone loves now, but that doesn’t mean it’s bad. Just remember, you can express your opinions freely. While I appreciate the game, I do have some concerns about its direction. Still, I’m excited about the new weapons and areas in the DLC. Hopefully, From will add something special like a frost infusion or resin!

It was close, but I can spot the bait easily. We're all in this together.

I'm taking it seriously, but my main concern wasn't about liking the linearity. It was about how difficult it is to obtain upgrade materials early on, which made certain challenges—like Abyss Watchers with a +3/4 weapon—really tough. I find the linearity quite frustrating. The sections are actually well-organized, though. In NG and NG+, enemies seem to handle damage better, but it still scales reasonably with weapon strength as you progress toward maximum difficulty. PVP works fine, but there are aspects you don’t enjoy. If I connect well with other players, I’ve had a great time. There’s a lot of room for improvement, but calling it trash is even more extreme than any of my points. They did try to appeal to a broader audience, which makes sense. The game has regressed in several ways compared to earlier versions, and honestly, that’s a bit disappointing. Still, the series means a lot to me, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the final installment wasn’t great either.
