I'm watching Linus' stream and Anthony said the i3 only works with 2666MHz speeds. My motherboard only supports 2666MHz RAM, but I have a 3200MHz RAM and an Intel Core i5-9600K. Does that mean it should work? Thanks for the advice!

The 9600K should work well with quicker RAM, though a Z-series motherboard is necessary to support RAM speeds over 2666Mhz.

I received the CPU just a few months back, so upgrading it isn't urgent at the moment.

I recommend not upgrading the board. A useful CPU upgrade usually requires a new board. It doesn’t make sense to upgrade the board itself.
