the game was really enjoyable at first but then it began to lag. i tried different graphics settings and stock profiles to stabilize it, but it kept freezing even after a while. i saved my progress before shutting it down. the background movie also stuttered, making the whole system slow. i had no idea what was happening. eventually, i reset my pc. it seems like 1050 ti is not suitable for that GPU, though i managed to get around 30fps for about an hour. the game suggests rx 570 as a minimum, which is about 1.5 times faster than my 1050 ti. i’m wondering if the game is still in early access.

Yes, early access works great. Let them gather information and update their patches. And don't forget the punctuation!

Early access likely caused a memory leak that would appear sooner on a more capable GPU. I don’t know the game, but I suggest reducing resolution, texture quality, and line of sight to ease GPU memory pressure. Ensure your system has sufficient RAM for the game. Many early access titles consume large amounts of memory due to poor coding or oversight. Generally, having at least 16 GB will help with many issues, though it won’t fix everything since these games are still developing.

If your listed details match current specs, your i5 6400 still falls short of the necessary standards. What graphics and resolution are you employing? Would you mind sharing a screenshot of the graphics options? If performance drops after extended playtime, it might be due to high CPU or GPU heat. Your system may be overheating, so avoid background tasks like streaming that could further strain it.

I'm running at ultra low graphics settings (1080p), and the game initially selected a low preset that I adjusted later. It maintained steady 30-40fps with minor fluctuations here and there. My frame rates are perfectly normal, though I want to note something unusual—my 1050 Ti was reduced by -30% using my extensive overclocking, if that qualifies as an influence. I wasn't streaming any background videos; only 6-7 browser tabs for regular websites. I tried closing Firefox, but it didn't resolve the issue.
