In several titles HDR performance drops in windowed or borderless settings (appears overly bright/overexposed). Alt-tabbing makes it look normal, and fullscreen works well. Tested with Destiny 2, Red Dead 2, and Cyberpunk 2077. Found a fix for Destiny 2 by changing resolution to 2560x1441 instead of 2560x1440 and shifting the window down by one pixel. Monitors: 2x Acer Nitro VG270UV GPU: RTX 4080 CPU Ryzen 9 7900x Windows 10. Previously had issues before upgrading CPU, GPU, and monitor. Earlier used an i7 7700k with a 1080Ti.

It's suggested to use it only in full screen mode. However, that might cause your system to switch between HDR and regular modes, making the black areas bothersome. You could try keeping it on continuously to check if it improves things.
