HDR design for Windows 10 interface
The Windows 10 interface supports HDR, but it doesn’t inherently use the extra color space for that effect. The display settings determine how HDR is applied.
The Nop W10 offers alternative options while it gets ready for full HDR support.
The Windows 10 interface enhances performance and compatibility by allowing only 24-bit colors (16.7 million hues) within the sRGB color space. It does not support 30-bit colors or higher, nor does it include AdobeRGB or DCI-P3 profiles, HDR, or any advanced features. Its most notable capability is transparency support.
