HDMI and USB connectivity via Cat6 cable, not a dedicated network setup.
Looking for suggestions on an HDMI and USB over Cat6 setup so you can access your gaming PC from any part of the house. Your network uses three RT-AX92U switches connected via Cat6 cabling. Since I didn’t plan for dedicated cabling to each room, I’m open to tips about using a switch or router to handle this configuration. I’ve seen some options on Amazon, but the reviews make me hesitant to try them.
I've looked everywhere for answers, but a PiKVM seems to be the top option. It's not about being the best overall compared to streaming Steam at home or other remote gaming tools on the console itself. If you need one system that works in multiple rooms inside your house, just opt for remote desktop solutions. The latency will be better than a device built specifically for video transmission over the network.
