Greetings.

My system specifications are as follows:

Operating System: Windows 10 Home 64-bit
Processor: Intel Core i5 4690 @ 3.50GHz (45°C), Haswell architecture, 22nm technology
Memory: 12.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 RAM @ 665MHz (9-9-9-24 timings)
Motherboard: Gigabyte B85M-DS3H (SOCKET 0) – operating at 30°C
Graphics Card: HP 2711 (1920x1080@59Hz), Intel HD Graphics 4600 (Gigabyte) – 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 (MSI) @ 30°C, ForceWare version 418.81, SLI is disabled
Storage: 1863GB Seagate ST32000542AS (SATA), 111GB KINGSTON SV300S37A120G (SATA-2 SSD) – both operating at 29°C

I am experiencing a performance limitation while playing XCOM 2 with maximum settings. I achieve only approximately 42 frames per second, with significant drops to as low as 12 FPS. The CPU is consistently running at 60% utilization, while the GPU remains at just 25%. Could my RAM be the source of this issue, or might there be another underlying cause?

The processor, graphics card, and random access memory increasing during operation wouldn’t necessarily signal a “hiccup,” no.

From where are you obtaining this data?

I obtained this information from Speccy. I am utilizing an MSI Ventus RTX 2060 with 6GB of VRAM.
