I just changed my Dell computer to Windows 11 and now I can't read or write any discs at all. I looked at some tutorials that said to delete the filters in regedit, but that didn't fix it. Then I updated every driver Dell offered and removed and put back everything in device manager. I even used a working external DVD drive and got the same problem. It's definitely a software issue, not something wrong with my hardware. Nothing has worked yet. Any help would be great!

Dell laptop or desktop? Did you check if your machine is up to date with the latest BIOS? What computer system were you running before? When you upgraded, did you go through the official Windows 11 path instead of just installing a new version directly? If so, reset your system by uninstalling and reinstalling after creating a fresh installer using the Media Creation Tool.
