Have you potentially affected any electronic systems with static discharge?
Hello, I’m checking if there’s any possibility I might have caused damage while unplugging my PC. I was in my room with carpet and no socks or wool clothing on. My chair is made of leather, and I didn’t feel any shock. It seems I might have accidentally touched something metal before starting, but not rubbed my feet. I’m wondering if I could have shocked something unknowingly, like the GPU or motherboard. I also didn’t rebuild the PC in that room—I was just disconnecting components. It's challenging to determine the exact outcome without full details. This appears to be the most accurate response available.
You're questioning whether I accidentally harmed any components I mostly interacted with, including the fan headers, CPU power pins, other connectors, and the PCIe slot during the disassembly. There were also some capacitors involved when rearranging parts.
It seems you're considering a situation where you might have made contact with the metal case. Just to be certain, further testing would be necessary.
