I was checking my mod on the headset to verify functionality. Initially, some wires were exposed before I secured everything; at first, soldering didn’t succeed. It worked directly with the back ports. Later, I plugged it into the USB card instead of the back ports, and it functioned properly. Now, when I connect it to the 3.5mm jack on the back, the sound is very weak. The front 3.5mm ports seem to work fine. Could there have been a short during testing that went unnoticed, damaging the sound card?

After installing the update and restarting, everything is functioning properly once more. Phew!
