Have you noticed high CPU usage?
It's not my usual thing to watch long videos, but I understand your point. Most early problems with the X570/Zen2 have been fixed through BIOS updates and AGESA patches, so keeping your BIOS current is wise. As long as you're not dealing with regular power interruptions, updating should be straightforward. Once done, run a stress test and monitor temperatures using the apps I recommended—Ryzen Master and HWiNFO.
He mentioned the high CPU temperatures are due to the motherboard delivering too much voltage and suggests keeping it below 1.4 peak. I’m focusing on performance without pushing overclocking. I updated the BIOS to version 1407, which is the latest available on Asus’ site. Right now it’s around 40°C with very low CPU usage. AGESA refers to the ASUS motherboard revision updates.
AGESA is mainly used to set up most aspects connected to your CPU, such as the cores, memory controller, and Infinity Fabric. It is updated via the BIOS, so you don’t have to worry about it. Temperatures around 70-75°C perform well during stress tests with the stock cooler. Do you still experience any crashes or unusual behavior, as you mentioned earlier—like a Chrome crash that might not be linked to the CPU?
I didnt no, so I am thinking its actually chrome so gonna uninstall clear appdata and reinstall chrome to see if that helps that. Doing a "Heaven" GPU Stress test now and staying under 60c on CPU and peak 75 on GPU so I am feeling its got decent airflow for me to play games a couple hours at a time lol. Thanks again.
