Have you noticed any issues with your GPU?
I’ve been facing problems with my computer. I brought it to a repair shop because it wasn’t turning on properly and I couldn’t solve the issue. The technician fixed it, but after roughly 30 minutes of gaming, the GPU (3060ti) reached full speed and then stopped. Now whenever I power it on, the fans spin wildly and it powers off. ^ This happened with my previous setup. Today I installed a brand new system, so everything is fresh except the GPU. I started it up and the same thing occurred—fans at max speed but no display. When I connected my old RX580 afterward, the fans began spinning again and then shut down. The only solution I’ve found is using integrated graphics with the new build. Could my GPU be damaged? Is it possible that the shop technician caused harm, which also affected the new system? Is it likely that someone shorted out the setup?
Your GPU seems to be the issue, as it’s the only shared component in both setups. It might be completely faulty. You could also try a BIOS flash check for any pin damage from shorts. Alternatively, bring the GPU to a third-party repair shop for testing on another machine.
It's strange that your older RX580 performed similarly in the new build. If you keep the original PC, you might want to test it in the new setup to confirm the GPU issue.
It performed a bit differently. The 3060 activated all fans, the 580 would rotate for a moment before stopping. I’m really hoping the 3060 didn’t damage the PCIe port.
Remove the GPU, link the video to the motherboard, and see if you can access BIOS.
You’ve removed a lot, it seems there might be an issue with the PCIe slot. Take a thorough inspection and clean the contact points on the card.
