Hello everyone, I'm trying to figure out something strange with my RAM. I used to have 16GB, but now I own a 32GB kit for a good price, bringing my total to 48GB. All my sticks are Trident Z. The issue is that in Task Manager it shows Chrome or certain tasks using more than half of my memory. I'm posting a screenshot, but I'm not sure why this is happening. It feels like the system isn't using my RAM efficiently anymore—it's slowing down and causing lag when switching between tabs in Chrome. Is this normal behavior? Any advice would be really helpful!

It seems quite unusual, I’m not entirely confident about this. Perhaps resetting your PC might resolve the issue.

Open Task Manager and navigate to the Resource Manager section. Check what shows the maximum memory usage. Confirm if you've installed any security programs to eliminate potential threats.

Close Chrome and then view it for comparison.
