I’ve been wanting to push my Ryzen 7 2700X up to around 4.2GHz, but I’m not very experienced. I checked out guides from others who used the same CPU and motherboard, and one of them managed to hit that speed. They kept everything consistent—same voltages, speeds, and temperatures. My system was only stable at 4.0GHz, so I’m wondering what might be missing. Could I have a faulty chip? Am I using enough cooling? Is my power strip affecting performance?
