Good day everyone! I recently bought a new computer, and everything is working great. Nothing is broken except one small thing: the screen flickers or shows weird lines sometimes when I move my mouse while it's opening an app or doing something else. It looks like this happens often, but only in certain situations. You can see it better by watching the video here: https://youtube.com/shorts/0siOzG2VGno?feature=share Please make sure to open that link in a new window because it's not very clear on the current page. I have no idea if other people ever face this problem, so I wanted to ask about it here. Here are the computer parts: The graphics card is an RX 6900 XT. The CPU is an AMD Ryzen 5 7600X. There are 32 GB of DDR5 RAM on the board. The motherboard is a Gigabyte B650 Aorus Elite AX, and I am running Windows 11.

Welcome to the forums, new person! Did you get the setup file from somewhere? Have you put every driver that matters into place, either on its own or by using "Run as Admin"? Did you make sure your computer was set up right when you started it all?

hi, I bought all the parts and license. A shop put everything together for me, so i dont know how they installed it. For the drivers, i checked after getting them and everything looked new. The only driver that came along was AMD Adrenaline because the older Pro version didnt work with the games i play (it just said out of date even though there were no updates). I took that one off using the control panel and wiped any leftover files before putting adrenaline in. Windows installed the rest automatically. Checking device manager shows nothing wrong except for my bluetooth adapter which has a big exclamation mark but says it has the best driver. Maybe it has the exclamation because i haven't connected the wifi antenna (i'm using a local connection)

Have you run DDU after taking out your old pro drivers before putting in Aderain? This guide shows how to do a clean install for your video card drivers. Updated on 9-19-19 How to set up your graphics card drivers using the Wagnard tools. Display Driver Uninstaller is a big help for many computers because there are often too many leftover drivers or incomplete uninstallations that cause trouble when you try to add new ones.

I know that restarting right after my command to update and shut down was supposed to happen, but maybe the update needed a quick restart. If that happened, shutting it down too soon could break some files. Try running "sfc /scannow" or "dism". One of those might help fix things. Just wanted to give you a heads up about these links: https://www.lifewire.com/how-to-use-sfc-...es-2626161 and https://www.windowscentral.com/how-use-d...s-10-image. It's just a quick thought.

Run DISM first then SFC so that SFC has all the files it needs to check your hard drive properly.

Hey, I'm sorry to take a while to reply. When I tried running DISM, it said the DISM log file wasn't found. Since I don't know how to use those command line words, I'm not sure what to do next.

i am going to take a look at this too, because i never ran DDU since i thought both chips were from AMD. Before i started, i asked a friend and he told me that i needed to run DDU when changing brands, but if it is the same brand, i will try it anyway.

Sounds like an error code 2 happened. This can happen because the spacing is off, so both lines need to match right-click start button choose Windows Terminal (admin). If this opens as Command Prompt, click the drop down arrow in the title bar and pick Powershell copy/paste this command into window: Repair-WindowsImage -Online -RestoreHealth and press enter Then type SFC /scannow and press enter Restart PC if SFC fixes any files as some fixes require a restart to be implemented First command repairs the files SFC uses to clean files, and SFC fixes system files SFC = System File Checker. First command runs DISM - https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows...windows-11 Pro and Adrenalin are different enough that I would run DDU to make sure all traces of one are gone before you install other.
