Have you ever operated a joystick in non-flying games?
I was just thinking about a review of a flight stick and realized I used one for a 2D platformer back when—it was simpler than using the keyboard. I haven’t used it in years, as it ran on an outdated port, and I’m curious if others have tried it for non-flying games.
I enjoyed playing Lego Racers back in the early 2000s and a few other mech-themed games.
It was the sole gaming platform I owned from around 1993 to 1997, which meant I spent a lot of time playing.
It was clear how the free-to-play game Hawken could be leveraged if someone truly wanted to.
I previously used a driving wheel in random games, though that was because my keyboard was mostly broken.
