The first game I played was World of Warcraft during my seventh grade. Back then, the world seemed incredible to me, and encountering Iron Forge was truly astonishing. No other game matched that experience.

I enjoy playing that game without taking any hits. But I have to shoot a weapon whenever the game asks me to.

I've enjoyed my ideal gaming moments several times, mainly with titles that really get my excitement or make me feel something strong. The last one I remember was playing Bayonetta. It felt amazing—great controls and a lot of fun I hadn't experienced in a while.

It was ideal to play The Witcher 3 and then the Mass Effect trilogy in a row. Two flawless gaming sessions back-to-back.

Back in the day with a PS2, Sly Cooper 2 was pretty much the best. Nowadays, I struggle to enjoy video games, particularly on PC. It feels like I’m not getting a solid experience unless I tweak everything just right.

They were all terrible. I really enjoyed that show. My own game is DayZ solo on a realistic roleplay server. Real time in life made losing feel genuine. A lot of stress grew as my teammates hid in bushes and talked quietly while we slipped past foes. I recall one day we explored an old warehouse and stumbled upon a mass grave. My team was captured—remember we all met daily for three months without dying—and I attempted to rescue them. I confronted the bandits, killed two with my rifle, then moved with my AK. I took down another near a corner and at that moment the last two began targeting my friends. I shot the one handling executions and climbed to the roof to find the final survivor. He was trying to revive one of the other captives. I used my only grenade and threw it off the roof, taking him out. All my friends except one were gone. I was trying to save him when he shared how valuable his experience was with me in case I couldn’t. He passed away during the blood transfusion. Because of the server’s rules (no outside contact), I never saw any of them again.

Perfection remains an ideal one constantly pursues yet remains out of reach. I've never truly lived up to my own definition of a perfect game. Even if I could design a version fitting today's standards, there would always be room for growth. My vision of perfection is limited by the technology available. I remember certain games and moments that inspired me, but each had its own shortcomings. I keep searching for the next MMO experience that brings me back to those early days with WoW Vanilla and TBC, yet even then it wasn't flawless. Earth & Beyond stands out in my memory, but even with an emulator, it no longer attracts players. It faces both modern challenges and its original issues. Honestly, I don’t think a perfect gaming moment ever existed, let alone one close to it.
