Hey there, so you're thinking about switching to Windows 10 when it becomes available. You have an SSD where you've kept your Windows installation and a HDD for your games. If you do a clean install of Windows 10, it will remove everything from the SSD but won't affect the HDD unless you also wipe that drive. Just make sure to back up important data before proceeding.

Unless you unintentionally set Windows on the hard drive, it remains untouched. Generally, you can upgrade Windows instead of restarting, which only modifies the system files.

Prefer a clean start. Also removes unnecessary stuff from the SSD.
