Share your experience with reinstalling systems. I recall my early days learning about PC repairs when I encountered the GPT file system error. That issue really confused me at first. All I needed to do was press F10, type diskpart, list disks, select disk 0, clean, and it worked perfectly. What challenges have your team faced over time?

previously I experienced a strange situation with a heavily scratched Win7 installation CD. at first I didn’t give it much thought, so I backed up my data to an external HDD and restarted the computer using that CD. after loading Windows 7, it prompted which drive to use, but I had already wiped the original drive clean before starting. everything proceeded normally until it reached 93% with an error message about missing files. I tried again and failed multiple times. then I recalled a story about toothpaste and scratched CDs bringing things back to life. not wanting to lose anything, I rushed to the bathroom, checked my Sensodine whitening paste, applied a small amount on the CD, rubbed gently with a cloth until the paste was gone. this filled in the scratches. the CD smelled fresh and clean. I reinserted it into the PC and continued the installation. 92%-93%...94% SUCCESS!!! short version: toothpaste helped my Win7 CD. edit: works only with paste, not gel.

I encountered an issue where the four colored bulbs weren't visible. It took me about three days to realize that 8GB DDR2 RAM might have been too much.

The STUPID usb installer from Microsoft functions properly. However, the .iso file for WIN7 64-bit HPE that you download from Microsoft to use with it is damaged (or at least it was two weeks ago). I had to revert to an earlier .iso created from the installation disk. Then I needed to apply updates over the next eight days until everything was current. Each time I installed updates and restarted, more updates appeared.
