Have you considered upgrading your CPU?
Two years prior I purchased an affordable Black Friday PC (HP Pavilion Power Desktop - 580-023w, WiFi, Bluetooth, 8GB RAM, GTX 1060, 3GHz CPU). I’m currently playing an alpha game and found it running slowly. I increased the RAM to the maximum supported by the board (16GB at 2400MHz) and everything seemed fine until a new patch was released. Suddenly, graphical issues appeared. My other systems are unaffected, and friends haven’t reported similar problems. I checked my specs and realized my CPU didn’t meet the minimum requirements for the game. Initially I thought the 3GHz CPU was insufficient, but it’s actually performing well under load. It seems the game is likely the main culprit. I’m considering upgrading to a better CPU if possible. For a budget-friendly option, I’m looking into used CPUs on sites like eBay and need guidance on what fits this setup.
It seems you're asking about something that isn't bad, but the context is unclear. Could you clarify what you mean?
They’re probably staying safe in a Fallout 4 bomb shelter and don’t understand human conversation anymore. A basic 4-core 4-thread CPU will really struggle these days. I’d suggest looking for an affordable Intel model online. A 3600 should be enough—though games tend to dislike multi-threading, even if they don’t hate the cores themselves. There might be cheaper options, but the used market is pretty unreliable.
A suitable recommendation would focus on a high-performance CPU with strong multi-core capabilities and efficient power usage.
